belo dollar account: How does it work?

At belo, we're interested on simplifying the way to receive payments. That's why we included an option to open a dollar account to receive ACH & Wire transfers, wether it's sent from:

  • Any bank account in the United States.

  • Digital platforms like PayPal, Wise, Upwork, Deel, Ontop and more.


✅ How do I activate the dollar account?

  1. Download the belo app and create an account.

  2. In the home, click on Deposit -> US Dollars.

  3. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.

  4. Wait a few minutes while we validate your info. You'll receive a notification when the account is ready to use.

👉 Once the account is active, you'll be able to receive transfers immediately.


📋 Which account details do I receive?

The account includes all the details to receive transfers:

  • Owner's account name

  • Bank's name

  • Bank address

  • Routing number

  • Account number

  • Account type

Transfer or share this data as appropriate.

Things to keep in mind 🧐

⏰ The funds will be credited in a 2 - 4 business days.

Note: Bank holidays in the US are not considered business days.

⚠️ PayPal transfers: In some cases, may take up to 3 weeks.

💰 Deposit fees:

  • ACH transfers: 0,3% of the total amount, with a minimum fee of $0,5 USD.

  • Wire transfers: $20 USD per transaction.

❗ Account opening fee: Opening your USD or EUR account costs $3 USD, and it's valid for one year from activation.

👉 If you already have a euro account, opening a dollar account is free — and vice versa.
