If a person or a store charges a payment through belo, it's probable that you're gonna receive a belopay link: the feature that allows users to send and receive payments in different currencies, in the fastest and simplest way. In this article, we'll teach you how to use it.
You don't have a belo account? Don't worry, you can enjoy this experience on your own way, choosing the payment method that fits you.
1. Review the payment details
When you open a belopay link, you'll be redirected to a page displaying the payment details. Please be sure to review the following:
Reference name: the receiver might have added a name to identify the payment.
Total amount: the amount you have to pay, the selected currency by the receiver (could be USD, Argentine peso or Brazilian reals).
Reference image: if the receiver included it, the payment may have an image related to the payment.
👉 If you detect that some of the details doesn't match what you agreed , we suggest you to put in contact with the receiver, before making any payment.
🚨 The payment link is valid for 24 hours. If you don't complete it in that timespan, the link will expire and you'll need to request a new one to the receiver.
2. Choose your payment method
You can choose between different payment methods, depending on those enabled by the receiver. The options may include:
Balance in belo: if you have available funds in the app, you can use them to complete the payment.
Debit or credit card: enter your card details securely.
Pix (payment in Brazilian reals): if you're in Brazil, you can choose Pix to make a quickly and direct payment.
Bitcoin (Lightning Network): for those who prefer paying with cryptocurrencies, you can use Bitcoin through Lightning Network, a fast and secure way.
💡 Important: You can only use the payment method enabled by the receiver.
3. Enter your email address
Once the transaction is completed, you'll need to enter your email address to obtain the payment receipt.
Make sure to include a valid email address. The payment receipt will be sent to that address 📲
