If you receive payments through PayPal, you've likely accumulated a balance in your account that is pending to withdraw. It's possible to transfer those funds to your belo account in a simple way, so you can use it in your country, in your currency. Here's a step by step guide.
👣 Step by step to link the account and make transfers
Link the belo account to PayPal
Login to your PayPal account, press on "Wallet", and then "Link a bank account":
There, you'll access to a section that allows you to link local bank accounts. You need to scroll down and press "Link a US bank account":
In this step, you'll need to complete the belo dollar account details.
👉 Haven't opened it yet? You can do it through the app, clicking Deposit > US Dollar > From abroad (ACH).
Once you've opened your belo dollar account, you'll access to the account details: bank address, deposit address, etc. Copy this info and go back to PayPal's app.
Complete all the fields, and select "Checking account":
Click on "Link bank account". If PayPal suggests you to configure direct debit, click on "Remind me later", at the moment it's not an available option on belo.
Verification & Confirmation
* It's possible that PayPal sends you 2 microdeposits to verify your account, and you should complete the transactions amount.
**PayPal may also ask you to declare that you are not a taxpayer in the United States. There, you just complete the email they'll send, to continue operating as usual.
Withdraw your funds
Once this process is finished, your belo dollar account will be linked to PayPal.
To Start a withdrawal in the PayPal App, click on Transfer, and then Transfer to bank:
Choose the belo linked account and confirm the transaction.
That's it! ✅ Now you can withdraw your PayPal funds to your belo wallet in a simple and secure way. The funds will be credited in USDC, a stable cryptocurrency, linked to the US dollar.
