With belo you can transfer dollars to any bank account in the United States, yours or someone else's. Transfers are made via ACH, the US bank transfer system, and are sent from your own US account, in your name.
How does it work? 🤔
To transfer dollars you need your US account. It's the same one you use to receive dollars, so if you already have it, there's nothing else to do. If you don't, you open it right when you make the transfer: it's free and usually takes less than a minute.
You don't need to have dollars. If your balance is in another currency, we convert it for you and you see the exchange rate before confirming 🔁

On the main screen, tap Transfer.
Choose To a new contact.
Choose Dollar and then United States, and enter the amount you want to arrive.
If you don't have your US account yet, we open it at this step. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready so you can continue with the transfer.
Enter the destination account details (account number and ACH routing number). If you've already transferred to that contact, we only ask for what's missing.
Review the details (amount, fee and exchange rate) and confirm. Done! 🚀
What you need to know 📌
⚠️ ACH only: transfers are made only via ACH. Use the ACH routing number of the destination account, not the wire one.
💰 Fee: USD 3 per transfer, regardless of the amount. You'll see it as a separate line before confirming.
📊 Limit: up to USD 9,000 per month. For businesses, up to USD 20,000 per month. If you need more, write to us through the in-app chat.
⏳ Crediting time: an ACH transfer can take up to 3 business days and isn't processed on weekends or US bank holidays.
🚨 Transfers to third parties: the money is sent in your name. If the destination bank requires the account to be yours, the transfer may not be credited.

No, the first opening is free.
Does the account have a maintenance cost?
It renews once a year. If you received or transferred dollars in the last 3 months, the renewal is free. If not, it costs USD 3.
Is it the same account I use to receive dollars?
Yes, a single account in your name to receive and to transfer.
Can I transfer by wire?
No. For now, transfers from belo to the United States are made only via ACH.
Why hasn't my transfer arrived yet?
ACH transfers can take up to 3 business days. If that time has passed, write to us through the in-app chat.
Can I transfer more than the monthly limit?
Yes. Write to us through the in-app chat and our support team will review your case to increase it.
